We are a Family Owned & Operated BAMBOO & METAL Business including myself, Kathy Jackson, my
Husband, Bob Jackson, and our Son, Lucas Jackson. We live in what is considered a rural part of Rockingham
County in North Carolina (NC).
It all started out for us online as Sellers on Ebay in 1999. I can be found there under the Seller Name
Bambooriversedge.   The guys BLACKSMITH AND BLADE WORK can be found under JacksonForge on Ebay.

I am the "Bamboosmith". The Bamboo is grown and harvested right here on the farm. I specialize in making
Bamboo Home Accessories, (Bath Towel Racks Toilet Tissue Holders, Paper Towel Holders, Curtain Rods,
Tapestry Rods), Wall Hanging Items Of all Designs and Sizes, Martial Arts Staffs, Walking Sticks and Canes.
ALL CUSTOM MADE. I incorporate Kanji (Japanese Calligraphy, done like wood burning) into several items
such as the Karate Staff, the Cane, and Wall Hangings. I can do Most Martial Arts Styles, Most First Names
and a few Phrases like "The Journey IS The Reward", or "The First Step To Knowledge Is To Admit That You
Know Nothing", or Bushido~ The Way Of The Warrior, Tae Kwon Do or Shaolin Kung Fu! You can choose from
Peace, Love, Harmony, Ying & Yang and Much , Much, MORE !! JUST ASK!! Special Request are Welcome.

The guys run the Blacksmith Shop (Jackson Forge) , making all the Mounting Hardware as well as other
Metal/Iron work. They are also Custom Hand Forged Knife Makers. Out back, you'll find the Coal Fire, Several
Large Hammers, and an Anvil! They have and can produce anything from a simple hand forged horseshoe or
key chain to a layered damascus knife with exotic wood and damascus hardware with Custom Beaded
Sheath! They do Shepherd Hooks, Bird House or Feeder Hangers, Garden or Indoor Serpent Sculptures, Funky
Plant Trellis, Unique Metal Jewelry Holders, Coat & Hat Racks, Hooks & Hangers of all kinds. They're
amazing!

We try to work together as a team here. We enjoy sharing ideas and exploring methods and trying new
methods as well as hanging on to some pretty old ones. At times, we incorporate both Bamboo & Metal and
have come up with some unique things. I have 100's of pictures of items that we have made and could do
again. I hope to get a catalog set up very soon that will serve as detail on each product, including availability
and a price list. For the time being, thruout the website, we give you an idea of what we make regularly and

You may see on our site, from time to time, some of my "crazy works", as my family would call it..I call it "My
Creations" because I've had no formal art training and certainly do not consider myself an artist. I'm a
craftsman, & My "works" are unique and individually handcreated or made by me. I have, for many years, been
involved in painting, decoupage, collage and assemblages, and other mixed media work. I love to make
something out of nothing & watch it become a piece for another life to enjoy if even for a time. You NEVER
know what I or WE may throw out there!! Even though we have some experience behind us, we are always
learning and appreciate any suggestions or comments you would like to share. The day we stop listening, we
will simply close the book. We hope you'll spend some time browsing our site and happen up on "Just what
